Aida Nour

Egypt

Yet another oriental dance maestro will drive in Prague for the first time!
Aida Nour is originally from Alexandria in Egypt. She began her dance career with a folkloric group – Alexandria Troupe. After her move to Cairo, Aida joined the famous Reda Troupe. She also established herself as a solo dancer with a successful career, having performed in many five star hotels in the oriental world.
Currently, Aida Nour is a sought after oriental dance teacher, as well as one of the main organizer of the well-known Nile Group Festival in Cairo.
Aida will hold four workshops during Let's Dance Festival 2010 in Prague. She will take part in the dance show „Gala Oriental“ on Saturday, July 24, 2010 and in the competition of professional Raks Sharqi dancers and oriental groups on Friday, July 23, 2010.

Rachel Brice - Královna tribalu

USA

She was born in California, San Francisco. Rachel Brice is a contemporary innovator in Tribal Fusion Style Belly Dance based in San Francisco. She is the artistic director and choreographer for The Indigo Belly Dance Company and a frequent performer with the Bellydance Superstars. Having performed and toured nationally and internationally since 1990, Brice has also made numerous guest appearances on Bellydance Superstars DVDs, and a mulititude of television and radio appearances worldwide, most notably Live with Regis and Kelly in the US and Blue Peter in England. As a teacher and movement arts pedagogue, Rachel Brice has released instructional videos focusing on Yoga and Belly Dance, and has given workshops throughout the United States and Europe. Brice also teaches Yoga and Belly Dance for Pixar Animation Studios. Introducing Rachel Brice seems to be a bit ridiculous, since every tribal dancer must have come across this name at least once during her „dance life“. Rachel Brice is simply today's „Queen of Tribal“.
She is known for her formidable dance technique, as well as for her unique teaching skills.
Rachel Brice will be travelling to Prague to teach and perform at the international dance festival „Let's Dance 2010“, which will be held from Thursday July 22, 2010 until Sunday July 25, 2010.

Amparo Núñez

Chile

Amparo Núñez comes from Chille. She performs and she gives lessons and workshops in many countries round the world. She studied flamenco in Chille, USA, Mexiko, Argentina and Spain. In Spain she got her education among others from Mari Magdalena, Hennri Burgas and Maximo Hita. Amparo found a group called Peňa Flamenca, where she performs.
Her dance is very suggestive and explosive. She handles the technique "zapateado" and plays knackers/castanets very well. You will find her workshops very inspiring. Amparo has a special gift not only to inspire you but she will show you how to improve your dance as well and among others she will wake the desire to "go on" in you.

Yousry Sharif

Egypt

It is a true honor for the Czech oriental dance scene to welcome Yousry Sharif!
Critics all over the world agree that Yousry Sharif is a superb and unique choreographer, dancer and teacher who, while staying true to the Egyptian tradition and spirit, has created a magnificent arena for Oriental Dance thanks to his acute sensitivity to music and movement, and his very special and unsurpassed charisma.
He is truly one of the most important master artists in Egyptian Raqs Sharqi, who commands a huge following everywhere he goes. Born in Cairo, he started his career in Egypt, where he performed in many movies and shows with the most well-known artists at that time, including Nagwa Fouad, Hassan Affifi, Mohmmed Kahlil, and Warda. In 1981 he moved to New York City, USA, where he founded his very own Egyptian Academy of Oriental Dance, which up to this day still provides an effective platform for coaching and directing troupes from all over the world. Most of the year he is globe-trotting to teach.
Yousry Sharif will head the jury in the Competition for Professional Raks Sharqi dancers and Oriental Groups, on Friday, July 23, 2010.

Serkan Tutar

Turecko / Belgie

In last year's festival, Serkan has taken the audience at Let's Dance galashow by storm. Don't miss his special dance and teaching style during this year's festival!
Serkan is originally from Turkey, but lives and works out of Belgium. He is one of the internationally recognized male bellydancers. In 2008 he won the award „Male Bellydancer of the World“.

Jana Ruzickowa

Švýcarsko

Jana Ruzickowa je zakladatelka a ředitelka taneční školy Jana Dance Center ve Švýcarsku.
Její taneční škola je zaměřena na výuku dětí i dospělých v různých tanečních stylech např. flamenco, jazz, africké tance, orientální tanec, hip hop nebo balet.

Zabývá se tancem již 30 let. Svou taneční průpravu začala v šesti letech. K jejím učitelům patřili: paní Aubreachtová, Taneční konzeravatoř Praha, Frank Towen (americký step).
V Čechách vystupovala v divadle E.F. Buriana a Jiřího Wolkera.
Její práce v Prago Concert ji naučila poznávat svět a světové tanenčí scény, na svých stážích zavítala například do Afgánistánu, Indie, Egypta, Španělska ad.

Představila se v několika muzikálech: West Side Story, Cotton Club, Duke Ellington ad.
Podílela se na několika televizních show ve Švýcarsku.
